PLP LEADER PHILIP “BRAVE” DAVIS IN GRAND BAHAMA TO OFFICIALLY LAUNCH GRAND BAHAMA LEG OF GENERAL ELECTION CAMPAIGN

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama, May 20, 2021 — With mounting evidence that a general election is imminent,  PLP Leader Philip Brave “Davis” travelled to Grand Bahama today to officially launch the Grand Bahama leg of the PLP general election campaign with a Church Service of Thanksgiving for the five PLP Grand Bahama candidates at the Grand Bahama First Baptist Church at 6:30pm on Thursday, May 20.

Accompanied by Glenys Hanna-Martin MP, former MP Leslie Miller, Party Chairman Fred Mitchell and other party officers, Mr. Davis is scheduled to tour Grand Bahama and meet with constituents to discuss issues of national concern.

The PLP for Grand Bahama include former Minister of Tourism Obie Wilchcombe, for West Grand Bahama and Bimini, a seat he previously held; Curt G. Hollingsworth, Marco City; Ginger Moxey, Pineridge; James Rolle-Turner, East Grand Bahama; and Kirk Russell, Central Grand Bahama.

Mr. Davis is due back in Nassau on Sunday, May 23.
