NASSAU, Bahamas, June 5, 2023 – The Office of the Prime Minister posted a collection of photos on Facebook on Monday, June 5, 2003, that we decided to share with readers of BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and, of course, The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean. The photos were posted with the following narrative:
“Today Prime Minister Davis officially opened the Consumer Protection Commission Bahamas Building, providing a space for the public to lodge consumer fraud complaints, report unresolved product or service dissatisfaction issues, and receive consumer debt counselling and tips.
The Davis Administration is committed to bringing immediate relief and stability, but the vision goes beyond economic recovery. It extends to compassionate social relief, enhanced security, and safeguarding consumer rights.”
