MARSH HARBOUR, Abaco – Prime Minister Philip E. Davis on Monday, February 27, participated in a ground-breaking ceremony on Montage Cay, a partnership between renowned Sterling Global Financial and Montage Hotels and Resorts.
The 53-acre island, which is expected be a major sensation in the Caribbean real estate market, will feature a 50-suite hotel, a top-notch deep-water marina, and exclusive homes, representing a $300 million investment for Abaco.
According to information that accompanied a collection of photos posted o Facebook by the Office of the Prime Minister, at the ground-breaking, the Prime Minister said, “This bodes well for The Bahamas. It opens up another income-generating avenue and will create long-term, sustainable employment for many Bahamians.”
This project, amongst other developments throughout the nation, align with the government’s efforts to increase opportunities for Bahamians.
