Also, 64 percent of respondents approved of the job being done by the current administration.

Twenty percent of respondents disapproved of the job the government is doing.

Public Domain said the survey was conducted by telephone August 22-23, with the main objective being to “gauge the general feeling of Bahamians regarding their approval of the current government”.

Public Domain said 828 people age 18 and older were surveyed through landline and mobile numbers based on random selection.

Asked whether they approve or disapprove of the job Davis is doing, 29 percent of all respondents said they strongly approve, while 41 percent said they somewhat approve.

The 18-34-year-old cohort voiced 70 percent approval of Davis, but also registered 17 percent disapproval.

The 55-plus demographic expressed 72 percent support of Davis, with only 12 percent disapproval.
