Yesterday, PM Davis met the remarkable Hillcrest Academy Debate team, the Fantastic Four: Makaih Brennen, Azaria Jenoure, Jolin Collie, and Romya Hunt. Together, they secured an impressive 22 medals, brilliantly shining in gold and silver.

Hillcrest Academy proudly represented The Bahamas alongside other institutions at the 2023 World Scholar’s Cup in London. These young talents emerged as the youngest debaters on this global platform, boldly facing students from around the world. The Bahamian flag flying high at the World Scholar’s Cup was historic, with Hillcrest Academy bearing this emblem.

The Fantastic Four’s success symbolises exceptional abilities and commitment to their homeland. They are truly “small but powerful.”
