UNCASVILLE, Conn., Sept. 19 — Watching their Bahamian superstar daughter Jonquel Jones lead the Connecticut Suns to a 94-68 rout of the Los Angeles Sparks Thursday night must have been a welcomed respite from the devastation caused to Grand Bahama by Hurricane Dorian for Preston and Ettamae Jones, who are residents of Eight Mile Rock, Grand Bahama. Jones, who scored 27 points, posted this photo on her Facebook page with the following caption: “Game two down baby!!!! 2-0 and headed to LA. The joy I get having my parents here to watch this is second to none! ❤️❤️. 242 this game tonight was for y’all baby!”
