“In the afternoon, we attended a meeting with the Grand Bahama-based heads of government ministries, departments, and agencies, before meeting with more labour representatives from the Bahamas Customs and Allied Workers Unions. We rounded out the day with a series of meetings with executives at the Office of the Prime Minister, Grand Bahama.”

She then declared: “Rebuilding and restoring Grand Bahama is a central commitment made by the Davis administration. As the Minister of State for the Public Service, I can assure civil servants based in Grand Bahama, as well as the general public, that positive changes are on the way to create a more efficient, more productive public service.
