RELATIVES OF PRIME MINISTER DAVIS PAY COURTESY CALL ON AMBASSADOR JONES

WASHINGTON, D.C., August 25, 2022 – One of the roles of His Excellency Wendall Jones, Bahamas Ambassador to the United States, is  to welcome Bahamians who visit the Embassy of The Bahamas Embassy, located at 600 New Hampshire Avenue, N.W.

Today Ambassador Jones spent time with several relatives of Prime Minister Philip ”Brave” Davis who were in the US Capital, Washington, D.C. In addition to two of the Prime Minister’s daughters, Dr. Phillipa Davis and Philice Albury, the group included two of his grandsons. They were accompanied by Ms. Annischka Holmes-Moncur and her two sons.

Dr. Philippa Davis is a renowned anesthesiologist in Falls Church, Virginia, who manages patient pain levels before, during, and after surgical procedures.

During the courtesy call, Ambassador Jones took the time to talk about the post-independence history of The Bahamas.
