RETIRED BAHAMIAN TEACHERS PAY COURTESY CALL ON AMBASSADOR JONES

WASHINGTON, D.C., October 4, 2024 – A group of 30 retired Bahamian teachers paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Wendall K. Jones, Bahamas Ambassador to the United States, during their visit to Washington D.C. that included  tours of  various historic sites and engaged in what they called “continual education.”

During a reception, Ambassador Jones thanked them for the tremendous contributions they have made to the educational advancement of tens of thousands of Bahamians and the positive impact they have made on the social development of their country.

The retirees were also scheduled to travel to Baltimore and Pennsylvania before returning home.
