CONTINUED COMMITMENT TO SERVICE ABOVE SELF: As a former member of the Rotary Club of Lucaya in Grand Bahama when I was Editor of the Freeport News (2003 -2009), I am compelled to share this post by Felix Roy Bowe Jr. highlighting the continuing commitment of Rotarians in Grand Bahama to Rotary International’s motto: SERVICE ABOVE SELF. Mr. Bowe introduced his post with the following quote from the late civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “Everyone can be great because everyone can serve.”

“Shout out to the amazing Rotarians on Grand Bahama who sacrificed, two (2) hours out of their Sunday afternoon to dedicate time to service. I’m extremely proud and want to shout Tayno Missick, Rotary Club of Grand Bahama Sunrise Community Service Director, for organizing same.
