ROTARY CLUB OF GRAND BAHAMA MAKES DONATIONS TO FEED THE HUNGRY

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama — Apostle Tony Grant and Anne Grant extended their thanks and gratitude to the Rotary Club of Grand Bahama for assisting in their mission to feed the many hungry and less fortunate on Grand Bahama Island.

Under the passionate leadership of President Christine van der Linde, members of the Rotary Club of Grand Bahama were out early Wednesday morning, May 27, morning to exemplifying Rotary International’s motto, Service Above Self, by presenting CostRight vouchers for food assistance to three organizations committed to feeding the growing number of hungry persons and families on Grand Bahama who are now currently unemployed and can no longer feed themselves and their families.

The Rotary contingent included President Christine; President-elect Jackie Russell; Community Service Director, Prudence Martin Gallagher; Assistant Secretary, Roosevelt Rolle Jr.; and Public Image Director, David Mackey.

They started out the morning with a presentation to Dudley Seide at Reachout Community Center.
