NASSAU, Bahamas, May 19, 2023 — His Excellency the Most Hon. Sir Cornelius A. Smith, Governor General of The Bahamas, received Letters of Credentials from His Excellency Faisal bin Falah Alharbi, the first Non-Resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to The Bahamas, during a brief ceremony at the Office of Governor General, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

Saudi Arabia, officially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is a country in Western Asia. It covers the bulk of the Arabian Peninsula, making it the fifth-largest country in Asia, the second-largest in the Arab world, and the largest in Western Asia and the Middle East.

Given the importance of Saudi Arabia on the global stage, we decided to share the presentation by His Excellency Faisal bin Falah Alharbi to the Governor General with readers of BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and, of course, The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean.:
