WASHINGTON, D.C., March 12, 2024 — MP for Seabreeze Leslia Brice, Bahamas Ambassador to CARICOM, today posted collection of photos on Facebook and I absolutely had to share some of them along with the accompanying narrative with readers of my Washington, D.C. – based online publication, BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean:
Mrs. Brice posted the photos with the following narrative:
Thank you to the Women’s Leadership Symposium (WLS) 2024 for inviting me to be a guest speaker on the topic “Overcoming Obstacles to Success”.
This Women’s Leadership Symposium was indeed a pivotal event designed to empower and uplift women by providing them with valuable professional development, networking opportunities, mentorship connections and successful leadership strategies.
It was indeed an honor to stand alongside Ms Denise Turnquest, President of Commonwealth Bank, and Ms. Ramona Neely, Senior Vice President, Family Guardian. These women have indeed made a mark in their fields and I am proud.
To the women who dream, to the leaders who inspire, this symposium was a reminder of our collective strength. Our journeys are as diverse as the waves of the ocean, yet we share a common destiny—to rise, to lead and to empower! #womenempowerment #womensupportingwomen
