WASHINGTON, D.C., July 7, 2024 — MP for Tall Pines Dr. Michael Darville, Minister of Health and Wellness, posted a collage of photos on Facebook today that I absolutely to share with readers of my Washington, D.C. – based online publication, BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean.
In the narrative that accompanied the photos, Dr. Darville noted that as “a physician by profession, listening to the concerns of others, caring about their welfare and helping those in need, comes natural to me.”
“These gifts have allowed me to transition easily into public life,” he declared. “When I entered the political arena, I always knew that I wanted to make a difference and I am grateful to have been afforded another opportunity to do so by the great people of Tall Pines.”
Dr. Darville added,” Healthcare is a priority of this Davis-led administration and I’m happy to be leading the charge to ensure that every Bahamian has access to quality, medical care in suitable, top-notch facilities. During my walkabouts, I’m eager to listen and to share our government’s accomplishments and future plans to remediate the vexing issues that have plagued our nation and communities.
“We are definitely on the right track, but Tall Pines, please know that your feedback and support are vital to our collective future successes. Together, we can make a difference! We are #StrongerTogether.”
