NASSAU, Bahamas — Historic St. George’s Anglican Church is celebrating 70 years in the Palmdale community, and as is now her usual practice, photographer extraordinaire Rosemary Clarice Hanna has posted a treasure trove of excellent photographs on Facebook, as she does on a weekly basis after she attends Mass at her parish church, St. Agnes Anglican Church in Grant’s Town. Of course, I have stated on more than one occasion how proud I am of my “Andros sister” Dame Marguerite Pindling (left), Governor General of The Bahamas, who has added an extra layer of sophistication to the meaning of elegant in every sense of the word. She is pictured with Mrs. Joann Boyd, the likewise very elegant wife of Anglican Bishop Laish Boyd. I certainly hope that Rosemary takes my advice and publishes a collection of her photographs for posterity sake and for future generations of Bahamians to enjoy as much as I do on a weekly basis.
