TURKS AND CAICOS PREMIER MISICK PAYS COURTESY CALL ON AMBASSADOR JONES

WASHINGTON, D.C., AUGUST 18, 2022 — A wide range of issues on relations between The Bahamas and The Turks and Caicos Islands  formed the discussions on Thursday, August 18,  during a courtesy call on His Excellency Wendall Jones, Bahamas Ambassador to the United States, by the Hon. Charles Washington Misick, Premier of that British Colony.

The Premier is in Washington, D.C., on business and used the occasion to visit the Bahamas  Embassy to talk about the progress and the challenges of development of the two countries and the high level of cooperation between both governments.  A highlight of the discussions focused on the crisis in Haiti and the migration problems.

Premier Misick was accompanied by the Hon. Arlington Musgrove,Minister of Immigration and Border Services of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
