U.S. EMBASSY AND BTVI SIGN MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

NASSAU, Bahamas, October 24, 2019 — The U.S. Embassy in Nassau and the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institution (BTVI) signed an official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Wednesday, October 23, making BTVI the host of the new EducationUSA Advising Center in The Bahamas, the Embassy announced on its Facebook page.

“We were also honored with the presence and support of the Minister of Education, the Honorable Jeffrey L. Lloyd,” the Embassy stated. “The new EducationUSA Advising Center, scheduled to open in early 2020 on the BTVI campus, will be the official source of information and guidance for anyone in The Bahamas interested in studying at a college or university in the United States.”

The Embassy added: “Whether you’re a young student, an adult wanting to continue your education, a parent researching options for your children, or anyone else who wants information about studying in the United States, the EducationUSA Advising Center will be there to give you the guidance you need.”
