NASSAU, Bahamas — Governor General, His Excellency the Most Hon. Sir Cornelius A. Smith, Governor General of The Bahamas, received Governor of the Turks and Caicos Islands, His Excellency Nigel Dakin, along with Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Hon. Charles Washington Misick, and their delegates in a courtesy call at the Office of the Governor General on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

Premier Misick, Governor Dakin and the FCI delegation arrived in Nassau on Sunday, December 4, for a series of meetings centered on National Security and Foreign Affairs to enhance the operational relationship between TCI and The Bahamas.

They were greeted at Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) by Bahamas Minister for Housing and Transport the Hon. JoBeth Coleby-Davis.

On Monday, December 6, the delegation had with the Minister of National Security, the Hon. Wayne Munroe, Permanent Secretary Cheryl Darville, Undersecretary Lisa Hall, Undersecretary Brenda Dorsett, Captain Floyd Moxey and In-House Counsel Paul Jones
