PHOTO ESSAY: Members of the Washington, DC Chamber of Commerce were hosted to a welcome networking reception at Luciano’s of Chicago Monday evening, the first day of their Trade Mission to The Bahamas, April 29 to May 2, 2019. They are pictured at Luciano’s, Monday evening, where Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance the Hon. Peter Turnquest gave a welcome address. Charge d’Affaires of the US Embassy Ms. Stephanie Bowers was in attendance. And CEO of the Washington DC Chamber of Commerce, Vincent B. Orange, Sr. was also present. The Trade Mission made a courtesy call on Governor General, Her Excellency the Most Hon. Dame Marguerite Pindling on Tuesday morning, April 30, at Government House along with members of the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce. Led by His Excellency Sidney Collie, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the United States of America and Permanent Representative of The Bahamas to the Organization of American States (OAS), the US Trade Mission will continue business networking events and tours of various local sites while in New Providence.
