WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 8, 2023 — MP for Elizabeth Jobeth Coleby Davis posted a fantastic collection of photos taken by prolific photographer Anthon Thompson at a surprise “thank you” reception hosted by the staff of The Bahamas Ministry of Transport and Housing as she transitions from being Minister of Transport and Housing to Minister of Energy and Transport as a result of the recent Cabinet reshuffle by Bahamas Prime Minister Philip E. Davis.
A total of 62 photos were posted. Obviously, I could not share all of them with readers of my online publication, BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean. However, I selected representative cross-section of the photos to share with BAHAMAS CHRONICLE readers.

Department of Housing you just made this transition a little bit harder after your surprise on yesterday. I can’t thank you enough for answering the call and putting in the work, dedication and effort to making homeownership a reality for many Bahamian families. While I am so overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, I couldn’t have done it without you!
Thank you for changing the status quo, we started off as co-workers, and now leaving as family.
