WIDE RANGE OF TOPICS ADDRESSED DURING DIPLOMATIC WEEK

NASSAU, Bahamas, Oct. 19, 2022 — Bahamian diplomats from around the world participated in Diplomatic Week 2022 this week at the Baha Mar Resort on Cable Beach under the theme Developing Global Partnerships for Sustainable Development.

Diplomatic Week 2022 kicked off on Sunday, October 16, with a Church Service at New Birth Ministries International followed by a brunch.

Day two of Diplomatic Week featured a welcome from Prime Minister the Hon. Philip E. Davis as well as updates on the country’s disaster preparedness, the revitalization of Downtown Nassau, the construction of the Cruise Port and the reconstruction of the Northern Bahamas.

Over the next two days discussions covered a wide range of topics.
