WORKSHOP SEEKS TO ASSIST TOURISM-BASED ENTREPRENEURS

NASSAU, Bahamas — Budding entrepreneurs who need help fleshing out their tourism-oriented business ideas are being encouraged to participate in the upcoming “Tourist Money Never Done” workshop being held by the Bahamas Development Bank and the Ministry of Tourism and Aviation, the Nassau Guardian reported August 31.

According to Minister of Tourism and Aviation Dionisio D’Aguilar, who announced the two-day workshop during a press conference yesterday, the point of the seminar is to inspire local entrepreneurs to think about getting involved in the tourist business and to offer related products and services to increase tourist spend.

“This workshop is the first in a series of workshops that we plan to take to the other islands, intended to create jobs and improve the quality of life throughout the islands,” he said. https://thenassauguardian.com/2018/08/31/workshop-seeks-to-assist-tourism-based-entrepreneurs/
