A New Generation of Intelligence Professionals Ready to Serve, Protect and Strengthen The Bahamas!
A powerful sense of national pride, achievement and purpose marked the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) Cohort 2 Graduation Ceremony, celebrating the successful completion of an intensive training journey and the emergence of a new generation of intelligence professionals committed to safeguarding our nation.

The ceremony was highlighted by remarks from The Hon. Philip Edward Davis, K.C., M.P., Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, who congratulated the graduates and underscored the tremendous responsibility they now carry in protecting the Bahamian people, national institutions and the future of our country.

In his message, the Prime Minister emphasised that effective intelligence work demands curiosity, cooperation, continuous improvement and an unwavering commitment to integrity, professionalism and the rule of law. He encouraged the graduates to serve with honour, courage and dedication to the nation’s safety and progress.

Although unable to attend the ceremony, The Hon. Myles K. LaRoda, M.P., Minister of National Security, who is away on government business, extended his congratulations and encouragement through a written message, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to developing highly trained, disciplined and capable professionals who will strengthen The Bahamas’ national security framework.

As an agency under the Ministry of National Security, the NIA plays a vital role in identifying and countering emerging threats, protecting national interests and supporting the safety and security of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
The graduation of Cohort 2 represents more than the completion of a training programme. It is an investment in our nation’s future, a strengthening of our national security capabilities and a proud reminder that the protection of The Bahamas rests in the hands of dedicated men and women willing to answer the call to serve.
The Ministry of National Security proudly congratulates the graduates of Cohort 2 on this significant milestone. As they embark on this important chapter, they carry with them the trust of a nation and the responsibility to serve with excellence, vigilance and integrity.
Congratulations, Cohort 2!
Your achievement is our nation’s pride. Your mission is our nation’s security.
