AMBASSADOR JONES SIGNS BOOK OF CONDOLENCES FOR THE LATE SECRETARY OF STATE HENRY KISSINGER

WASHINGTON, D.C., December 4, 2023 – His Excellency Wendall Jones, Bahamas Ambassador to The United States of America, today visited The State Department in Washington D.C. to sign the book of condolences on the passing of former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.

Mr. Kissinger, who passed away last week at the age of 100, served in both the administrations of  Richard Nixon and  Gerald Ford. He was a longtime visitor of The Bahamas and spent many vacations at Lyford Cay.

Ambassador Jones described him as “a treasury of wisdom in diplomacy for the world.”
