BAHAMAS CONSUL GENERAL TO NEW YORK HOSTS RECEPTION FOR H.E. LOWELL MORTIMER

MORRIS COUNTY, New Jersey — The Hon. Fred Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, attended a private reception hosted by the Hon. Leroy F. Major, Bahamas Consul General to New York, at his Morris County residence in honor of H.E. Rt. Hon. Lowell Mortimer, Bahamas High Commissioner to India, who was honored for his philanthropic work by the St George’s Society of New York at the British Ball held at the Pierre Hotel in New York on April 16..

Mr. Mortimer was recognized for his vast contributions to The Bahamas, notably founding the LJM Maritime Academy of The Bahamas.
