LONDON, England — His Excellency Ellison Greenslade, QPM, Bahamas High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, on Saturday, July 20, 2019 reposted  a video of a performance by Bahamian-British jazz singer Chelsea Blues. It was originally posted by the “BBC Music Introducing in London” on Jul 10, 2019 with the  following caption: “Chelsea Blues joined us live in session at Havering College of Further & Higher Education to record us her track ‘The Alchemist’. Credit to Chelsea and Havering College Creative Arts Department for their hard work on this.”

Chelsea Blues, who was born and grew up in Freeport, Grand Bahama, is the daughter of Bahamian journalist Yasmin Rigby-Popescu and her ex-husband Erine Blues, who worked in the financial area in Freeport for many years before returning to England.
