GBPA HIGHLY PRAISED FOR “OUTSTANDING” CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS AT ROUNDABOUTS

BAHAMAS CHRONICLE EDITOR’S NOTE: I became a strong supporter of the Grand Bahama Port Authority (GBPA) when I lived in Freeport and was editor of The Freeport News because of the excellent leadership provided to that business establishment by the late Edward St. George, so I absolutely had to share this post by Ta’Shar Cuccurullo as a Guest Commentary with readers of my online publication, BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama, December 5, 2023 — Congratulations to the Grand Bahama Port Authority for the outstanding job on the two roundabouts – one at Coral Road and Sunrise Highway, and the other at Sunrise Highway and the road leading to the old bowling alley.

Though I overlooked the roundabout near Burger King on the Mall and Sunrise Highway, I’m confident that if the same decorator was involved, it must be equally impressive!

The lively Christmas colors bring joy to the season. Unfortunately, I couldn’t capture a photo while driving, but if you have the chance, take a night drive and judge for yourself. I believe you’ll appreciate the excellent work.

Once again, kudos to the Grand Bahama Port Authority for the magnificent achievement!
