HIGHLIGHTS OF NATIONAL YOUTH MONTH IN GRAND BAHAMA

We decided to share this article with readers of BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean. Ministry for Grand Bahama posted this collection of photos with the accompanying narrative on Friday, October 2, 2026.

During this National Youth Month, the Ministry for Grand Bahama celebrates the many ways we continue to create opportunities for our young people to learn, explore, create and lead.

From innovation and technology to maritime, agriculture, career development and employment, initiatives across Grand Bahama are helping young Bahamians gain the knowledge, exposure and experiences they need to pursue their aspirations.

Investing in youth is more than preparing them for tomorrow. It is creating opportunities for them to contribute today.

Our young people have ideas, talent and potential. When we provide them with the right opportunities and support, we give them the foundation to turn that potential into meaningful impact for Grand Bahama and The Bahamas. This National Youth Month, we celebrate our youth, and the opportunities we are providing today to equip them to become the innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders of tomorrow.
