LESLIE MILLER OBVIOUSLY IS VERY PROUD OF HIS “LITTLE GIRL”

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 14, 2021 – I saw the photo accompanying this article of my long-time friend  and his daughter, Leslia Miller-Brice, the Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) candidate for Seabreeze, among an extensive collage of photos posted on Facebook and I could not resist the temptation to share.

Leslie and I have been friends from the 1960s when I was a young reporter at the Nassau Daily Tribune and he was one of The Bahamas’ top track and field stars.

Of course, he subsequently went on to become a successful businessman while simultaneously establishing himself as one of The Bahamas’ leading politicians for many years.

Indeed, as I noted in a previous article, in which I commented on the impressive campaign being conducted by Leslia Brice in quest to become the next House of Assembly member for the Seabreeze constituency, that her political savvy  should not come as a surprise to anyone because she obviously inherited her political skills from her father.

As I noted in another article, she certainly deserves the highest praise for her LB’s Learning Academy, which offered free after-school tutoring sessions for grades six, nine and twelfth grade students for five weeks in response to the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on The Bahamas’ educational system.

As the photo of her and her father indicates, clearly Leslie Miller clearly is extremely proud of his “little girl.”
