NASSAU, Bahamas, June 20, 2022 — For 25 years Native New Yorkers, Jim and Janis Benfante, have been consistently visiting The Bahamas. To them, they’re not just coming on a vacation, because over the years they have grown to consider and value The Bahamas as their other home.

On a recent return visit to Nassau, The Benfante’s paid a courtesy call on Tourism’s Deputy Director General Dr. Kenneth Romer Dr. Kenneth Romer. They were gifted with tokens of Bahamian Appreciation, organized by Tourism’s Visitor Relations Unit headed by Bernadette “Bunny” Saunders and staff at Sandal’s ResortSandals Resorts

In an interview with Tourism Today Bahamas, the couple confessed that The Bahamas is their destination of choice and that their return over the past quarter century, has been influenced by the genuine warmth of the Bahamian people.

Dr. Romer, emphasized that one of the Ministry’s key organizational priorities is to, “Inspire visitors to return to The Bahamas as lifelong Brand Ambassadors”. Everyone must play their part.

We are all in this together. Tourism is truly everybody’s business.
