GUEST COMMENTARY: BY PHILIP “BRAVE” DAVIS

NASSAU, Bahamas, July 6, 2021 — Over the weekend, I was honored to bring Deputy Leader Chester Cooper and a large group of our dynamic candidates to meet the special people of Cat Island. We heard about the hardships caused by the recent lockdown and we shared our vision and plan for change.
The majority of our candidates are new to front-line politics; it’s important to me to have at the table fresh perspectives based on their expertise in fields such as business, education, engineering and sports.
All of our candidates share this in common: they’re ready to start making a difference on day one. In The Bahamas, we need an economy that works for everyone, not just the same favoured few at the top. Together, we’re ready to chart a new way forward for our country.”
