WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 16, 2023 – Today is the second anniversary of Progressive Liberal Party’s landslide victory in the September 16, 2021, general election and in a post on Facebook Prime Minister Philip E. Davis thanked the Bahamian people who “trusted us two years ago to deliver change, and who are supporting all the work and progress underway today.”

In narrative that accompanied a collection of photos on Facebook, Prime Minister Davis said, “This morning, I was filled with gratitude as the Progressive Liberal Party hosted a breakfast marking our government’s two years in office.  Thank you to the Bahamian people who trusted us two years ago to deliver change, and who are supporting all the work and progress underway today.”

He added, “Thank you to the volunteers who joined me today to serve up both food and laughter. And thank you to all who stopped by to share a meal and say hello. We love you all, and we will keep working day in and day out for you.”

I absolutely had to share this with readers of my online publication, BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean.
