SOME VERY GOOD NEWS

I have had a mobility problem ever since I had two hip replacement operations, but I get around very well with the use of a walker. Here I am headed to near-by Safeway to do some grocery shopping.

WASHINGTON, D.C., January 22, 2021 – When I got out of bed shortly after 1 p.m., after watching movies on TV virtually all night, I was in a fairly good mood despite some pressing personal problems. After my daily meditation, I received some very good news in an email from George Washington University Hospital in response to my application to receive the COVID-19 Vaccine.

Here’s an excerpt from that email:

“Hi Oswald Brown,

Your COVID-19 Vaccine for Patients with GW Medical Enterprise at 11:00am (Eastern Time – US & Canada) on Friday, February 5, 2021 is scheduled.

The GW Medical Enterprise will administer the COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccination will take approximately 15 minutes, but plan for a 45 minute process in total. Please bring a form of ID and proof of eligibility.

Location: GWU Lerner Health and Wellness Center – Located at 2301 G St NW, Washington, DC 20052.”

This is in keeping with the excellent health care I have received over the years, including two hip replacements (in 2012 and 2013), from GWU-MEDICAL FACULTY ASSOCIATES, under the supervision of Dr. Christiana M. Puchalski. GOD IS GOOD.
