UNITED STATES DONATES THREE SAFE BOATS TO THE BAHAMAS

“We’re always proud to partner with The Bahamas to help keep these beautiful waters safe,” the U.S. Embassy Nassau said .

NASSAU, Bahamas —  Thanks to U.S. Northern Command, the United States donated three SAFE boats, plus communications and biometric equipment to The Bahamas, at the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Headquarters in Coral Harbour on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

Announcing this on its Facebook page, the U.S. Embassy Nassau stated: “We’re always proud to partner with The Bahamas to help keep these beautiful waters safe.

“Our thanks to the Minister of National Security, Marvin Dames, and to Commodore Dr. Raymond King of the RBDF for receiving us, and showing us the impressive installations at Coral Harbour.

“It was an honor to have Rear Admiral Daniel Cheever and Major General Michelle Rose of U.S. Northern Command, as well as Major General Christopher Callahan of the Rhode Island National Guard join our Chargé d’Affaires Usha Pitts and Senior Defense Official Commander Kevin Self for the handover ceremony.
