AN OPEN MESSAGE TO THE PLP FROM TROYA OLIVER-BROWN

By OSWALD T. BROWN

BORN IN WEST END! BUILT FOR THE JOB: I have not yet met my grand-niece-in-law Troya Oliver-Brown, who got married to my grand-nephew Samuel R. Brown in June. God willing, over the Christmas holidays, I plan to meet this beautiful, smart  young lady that Sam was fortunate enough to convince to marry him.

Sam and Troya in West End on Sunday, October 15.

Troya is the lead Clinical Physician at Doctors Hospital Health System in Nassau, and she and Sam, who is a lawyer, surely shall be a powerhouse young political couple after Sam is elected as the next Member of Parliament for West End and Bimini in the upcoming bye-election for the Grand Bahama seat that became vacant following the death of Obie Wilchcombe.

Troya and I obviously are “on the same page” as far as Sam been chosen as the PLP’s standard-bearer in the upcoming bye-election. She posted the above photo on Facebook on Monday with the following narrative: “Born in West End! Built for the Job!”

I absolutely had to share this with readers of my online publication, BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among Bahamians in the diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean
