FREEPORT, GRAND BAHAMA, November 4, 2026 — Disney Cruise Line has named Keturah Babb-Higgs as Public Affairs Director, strengthening its locally based team in The Bahamas.

In this role, Keturah will support Disney Cruise Line business initiatives in The Bahamas by building relationships and serving as Disney’s liaison for external stakeholders, including government agencies, community leaders, the nonprofit community, media and business leaders.

“Keturah’s deep connection to The Bahamas, combined with her extensive professional experience, makes her a tremendous addition to our team,” said Beth Thibodaux, director, external affairs, Disney Cruise Line. “Her understanding of the communities we engage with will be invaluable, and we look forward to the leadership and insight she will bring to our work across The Bahamas.”

Babb-Higgs also oversaw the university’s UB IGNITE entrepreneurship and innovation program, secured significant grant funding for university programs, and fostered relationships with organizations including the Inter-American Development Bank and The Bahamas Protected Areas Fund.
