JAZZ CHISHOLM AND LUCIUS FOX ON OPPOSING SIDES AT NATIONALS STADIUM OVER THE NEXT FOUR DAYS

Going into tonight’s game against the Washington Nationals, Jazz Chisholm Jr., the Bahamian sensational second baseman for the Miami Marlins, is batting .295, with 4 homeruns, 15 RBIs, and 4 stolen bases.

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 26, 2022 — My beloved Washington Nationals begin a four-game series at Nationals Park tonight against the Miami Marlins, and  as a Bahamian, my loyalty most certainly will be put to a test whenever Jazz Chisholm Jr., the Bahamian superstar second baseman for the Marlis, comes to bat. Of course, I shall be pulling for him to get a hit, but I hope my beloved Nationals sweep the four-game series.

WASHINGTON NATIONALS LUCIUS FOX

I don’t know whether Lucius Fox, a Bahamian who is on the Nationals roster, will play in any of the four games, but it really would be great to see two Bahamian professional baseball players in action against each other.

Fox has seen action in seven games for the Washington Nationals so far this season – at either shortstop or third base – but he has not yet had his first hit in the Major League after 14 at-bats. However, he has been sensational defensively, making several outstanding diving plays.

Meanwhile, going into tonight’s game, Jazz Chisholm Jr. is batting .295, with 4 homeruns, 15 RBIs, and 4 stolen bases.

With two Bahamians playing against each other over the next four nights here in Washington, D.C., I hope that His Excellency Wendall Jones, Bahamas Ambassador to the United States, would use his diplomatic clout to get tickets for one of the games and see his countrymen play.

I shall most certainly watch all four games on T.V. in the comfort of my apartment while imbibing my favourite alcoholic beverage Dewar’s White Label Scotch.
