A recent ceremony celebrated the remarkable achievement of recently titled, Junior Minister of Tourism, Raia Cargill, a student of Sunland Baptist Academy, who proudly represented Grand Bahama on the national stage and brought home the winning title. Her accomplishment is a proud reflection of the talent, determination, and excellence that continue to shine from Grand Bahama.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Tourism, Hon. Glenys Hanna-Martin, M.P., Minister for Grand Bahama, Hon. Ginger M. Moxey, M.P., other government officials, family, friends, and the ‘Stinger Nation’. Next month, Raia will represent the wider Bahamas, on a regional stage, showcasing the exceptional talent, creativity, and potential found across our islands as she carries the spirit of Grand Bahama with her.
